Hannah Shore Jacobs ’74, the parent of a child with special needs, will speak about her advocacy for the disabled. Her work has helped to start the conversation about words that devalue the disabled and are often voiced by online hate groups.

Donaldson Romeo ’80 explains how he employed his gifts for business, portraiture, journalism, and advocacy at various stages in his life. Don credits the writings of Martin Luther King Jr. with inspiring his work.
West Side Story: Reviving a Classic

George School theater teacher Maureen West will transport you behind the scenes of the school’s recent West Side Story production, the fifth performance of the show in George School history.
Learning Well and Living Green: George School’s New Library

Learn how George School’s new, green library advances student learning and exemplifies environmental stewardship. Guided tours of the building will follow this presentation.

George School robotics teacher Chris Odom will show how his students employ math, science, electronics, and engineering skills to program robots to autonomously navigate their surroundings and interact with their environment.

Karen Sulzberger ’70 will explain how the educational program Facing History and Ourselves engages classrooms in an examination of the Holocaust and other examples of genocide. Facing History aims to help students connect history to their own moral choices.
Sing Along with West Side Story

George School music teacher Jacqueline Coren will lead you through a fun sing-along featuring celebrated songs from West Side Story, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim ’46.
Theory of Knowledge

George School International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator Ralph Lelii will explain how a central course in the IB Diploma Program encourages critical thinking about knowledge itself.
George School Athletics: Celebrating Extraordinary Coaches

Led by Girls’ Athletic Director Nancy Bernardini, this discussion features three beloved teacher-coaches from the Class of 1965—John Gleeson, Paul Machemer, and David Satterthwaite. Learn how George School coaches influenced these alumni as students and inspired their own coaching careers.
