GeorgeSchool is proud to announce that senior Kimberly Chavez of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, was named a Scholar in the 2006-07 National Hispanic Recognition Program. Kim is among approximately 4,700 students who were selected to be honored by the program based on their 2005 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) scores and academic records. The distinction of "Scholar" is the highest honor given through the program. Over 175,000 students nationwide entered the competition when they took the 2005 PSAT/NMSQT and identified themselves as Hispanic.
