George School is proud to announce that senior Edward Cava was selected as a semifinalist in the 2006 National Merit Scholarship Program based on his performance on the 2004 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). In addition, 12 seniors who were high scorers on the test received letters of commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.

As a semifinalist, Edward is among 16,000 high school seniors who will have the opportunity to proceed in the competition for the approximately 8,200 Merit Scholarship awards that will be given this spring.
