Fourteen Students Exhibit at the 29th Annual High School Art Exhibition

Fourteen George School students were selected to participate in the 29th Annual High School Art Exhibition for the Pennsylvania First Congressional District. The exhibition took place from Friday, March 29 through Sunday, April 14 at the Hicks Art Center Gallery at Bucks County Community College. Celine Ge ’26 received the exhibition’s Photography Award for her photo Woman at the Market, and Jillian Yao ’26 received an honorable mention for her digital art piece Subterranean.

“My heartfelt pride extends to all our students who were selected by their teachers to participate in this prestigious exhibition,” said Danielle Picard-Sheehan, Director of Visual Arts and Design.  “Additionally, I wish to convey my deep appreciation to my fellow colleagues for their steadfast support in fostering our students’ artistic growth.”

Showcasing the artwork from high school students in the congressional district, over 200 artworks were exhibited at Bucks County Community College for the exhibition. Every congressional district in the country holds their own exhibition with the first place artwork from each district hanging in the US Capitol for one year.
