Join current students, faculty, and staff on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for fall food and fun on the George School campus. Relive a few hours of this family-friendly, fall favorite weekend.

 

Activities include:

Varsity Equestrian Event
George School Coed Varsity Equestrian Team co-host with Enchanted Equestrian Team—Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Horse Show
8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This is an all-day horse show hosted by the George School Varsity Equestrian team.

Bookstore Hours
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Hang out with the Visual Arts
10:00 a.m. to noon
Enjoy apple cider and cider donuts while you visit with arts faculty Amedeo Salamoni and Carter Sio ’76. Amedeo will be tending to our new wood-fired kiln. Hang around with students and help stoke the fire. We are also expecting a sawyer to be here milling the trunks of campus trees for use in future student projects. Stand by or help catch and stack the boards with Carter.

Four Square Anyone?

Red Square
Drop by Red Square for a game of Four Square, all are welcome.

Marshall Center, Fire Pit
11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Marshall Center (rain location Marshall Center, main floor)
Help churn apple butter over the fire honoring the tradition started by Palmer Sharpless and carried on for many years by Mark Osterman and Mark Wiley; carve your own pumpkin (paints available for children); enjoy chili, campfire roasted potatoes with all the fixin’s, fresh local apples, and apple cider; and face painting by our very own student artists.

Campus Hayride with Vince Campellone
1:00 p.m. at Drayton Circle
For children of all ages.

Home football game vs. Jenkintown High School
2:00 p.m.
Cougar Field
Refreshment concession stand sponsored by the junior class.

Post-Game at the Clubhouse
