Is There One “Real” George School?

Posted By Karen Hallowell, Tuesday, September 22, 2009

During the thirty years of my admission career at GS, I saw my role as opening a window into George School for prospective students and their families. As I begin this blog for the alumni community, I see that this role is quite the same, but the window is on the other side of the house.

And what a house this is! So many of us call this place home; we all think we know the "real” George School. I would guess, however, that there are as many truths as there are tellers, as many opinions as there are perspectives.

With a house this complex and multifaceted, the windows are many, the views are diverse. Only when we put them all together can we find the "real” George School.
